The initial plan from NBA Commissioner Adam Silver was to have players stand f or the league’s values of freedom of expression by speaking in China. Adam Silver最初的計畫是讓球員在中國表態支持聯盟的言論自由價值。 At the meeting, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, James made it cle ar that it was the league’s responsibility to properly respond to the crisis without expecting the players to be placed in positions where they would have to answer questions about a complicated topic.
