Lately, Konami has been giving some attention to the Metal Gear franchise. A collection of the first 3 Metal Gear Solid games is coming in October to multiple platforms, including the Switch, and Konami announced a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater earlier this summer. What might surprise you, however, is just how much the Metal Gear games have sold in the 36 years that have passed since the franchise’s debut in 1987.
