Pirates option catcher Henry Davis to Triple-A; activate Yasmani Grandal PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Friday that catcher Henry Davis has been optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis to make room for veteran Yasmani Grandal being added to the active roster. Grandal was playing in Triple-A as part of a rehab assignment. Davis appeared in 23 games so far this season for the Pirates, tallying just 11 hits in 68 at-bats. Grandal, a 13-year MLB veteran, signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh in February.
